IEEEXtreme is one the largest competitive programming competition in the world 🌎 with 14,000+ participants in 2022, which aims to gather all teams world wide to compete against each other at the same time💙 [ October 28, 2023 ] ✨
It’s a 24hrs time span to solve a set of programming challenging problems, the competition will start on 0:00 GMT 28th of October [3:00am in Egypt’s time ] and ends on 0:00 GMT 29th of Oct .
Who is eligible to compete in the competition?
All students and graduate level who are passionate about competitive programming. No fees are required to join the contest, you only should have an active IEEE membership .

Is there any specific programming language?
IEEEXtreme support more than 25 programming language [c++ , python, Dart, Java , C , C# , Ruby , Perl , PHP , JavaScript…ect ] , so whatever programming language you use , you will find it supported by IEEEXtreme 😉

Team composition:
A team can consist from 1 to 3 members as maximum, in condition no more than 2 graduate members in one team.
[More illustration & team members composition probabilities:
-Maximum : 3 SM (or) 2 GSM 1 SM (or) 2 SM 1 GSM
– Average : 2 SM (or) 2 GSM (or) 1 GSM, 1 SM
-Minimum of 1 SM (or) 1 GSM ]
With all teams , there’s a proctor who monitor them & accept there registration to be his/her proctor on their teams.

How to register as participant- competitor - ?
Is there any practice I could have before the competition day?
IEEEXtreme support you by the practice community (csacademy) as you could practice more before the competition day
If I get a high rank , what will be my prizes?
Well, IEEEXtreme support all the competitors. All of them whether their ranks will receive certificates from the IEEEXtreme organization.
Teams with high ranks:
– 1st Place: Travel & accommodations to choice of IEEE conference, up to $3,500 per team member
– 2nd Place: 400$ Cash Award to each member
– 3rd Place: 300$ Cash Award to each member
– 4th→100th Place: Gift Bundle & Topcoder T-Shirt (One Each )
Other facts in IEEEXtreme which make it a unique contest:
= *No plenty* for ‘Number of submission done ‘ & ‘time taken for each problem ‘
= 30 points are awarded for every correct answer. 70 extra points can be awarded depending on the task “difficulty”. The difficulty of any task comes from the average points teams scored on it; should many teams solve the same task, that task is deemed to be very easy and no additional points will be awarded for that task.
