تشرّف قسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم البيئي، بكلية الهندسة والتكنولوجيا، بالأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري (AAST) بالمشاركة في معرض
«الإسكندرية: ذاكرة العالم – التراث والتأمل»، الذي نظّمه المكتب الإقليمي لليونسكو في مصر والسودان، بالتعاون مع محافظة الإسكندرية، والأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري، ومكتبة الإسكندرية، وذلك خلال الفترة 21–22 ديسمبر 2025
شارك قسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم البيئي بكلية الهندسة والتكنولوجيا بالمقر الرئيسي للاكاديمية كعارض في القاعة الرئيسية لهذا الحدث المهم، حيث قدّم مشروعات تصميم إعادة الاستخدام التكيفي ضمن معرض
«إحياء التراث السكندري»، من إعداد طلاب واعضاء هيئة تدريس قسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم البيئي
كما ساهمت الأكاديمية بعرض نموذجين هولوجراميين؛ تناول الأول
«التوثيق الرقمي للشخصيات التاريخية بمدينة الإسكندرية»، بينما عرض الثاني
«التوثيق الرقمي للمباني التاريخية بمدينة الإسكندرية»، كما تم عرض نموذج واقع افتراضى لمقبرة بالاسكندرية وذلك تأكيدًا على دور الذكاء الاصطناعى في توثيق الذاكرة الثقافية وتفسيرها والحفاظ على التراث
جاءت هذه المشاركة تحت إشراف الأستاذة الدكتورة مي عباس يحيى، رئيس قسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم البيئي، والأستاذة الدكتورة سالي الديب، أستاذ مساعد بقسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم البيئي، وبإشراف الأستاذ الدكتور أكرم سليمان، عميد كلية الهندسة والتكنولوجيا، وبالتعاون مع الأستاذة الدكتورة أميرة سنبل، عميد كلية الصيدلة بالأكاديمية. والمهندس احمد عمارة، معيد بكلية الفنون والتصميم بالاكاديمية
ويأتي هذا المعرض ضمن إطار برنامج ذاكرة العالم (MoW) التابع لليونسكو، الذي أُطلق عام 1992، ويهدف إلى صون التراث الوثائقي ذي القيمة العالمية الاستثنائية، وتعزيز إتاحته للجميع. وتعكس المشاركة في هذه المبادرة، التي تربط التراث المحلي بأطر الحفظ الدولية، التزام القسم المستمر بالحفاظ على التراث والانخراط الأكاديمي والبحثي في مجالات صونه وتوثيق
The Architectural Engineering and Environmental Department, College of engineering and technology, AAST was honored to contribute to the exhibition “Alexandria: Memory of the World – Heritage and Reflection,” organized by the UNESCO Regional Office for Egypt and Sudan, in collaboration with the Governorate of Alexandria, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. 21-22 December 2025
The department participated as an exhibitor in the main gallery of this significant event, presenting Adaptive reuse design projects in exhibition “Reviving Alexandria’s Endangered Heritage, by students of Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design Department, College of Engineering & Technology, Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport “.. AAST also contributed with 2 holograms, hologram 1 that showed ” Digital Documentation of Historic Characters of Alexandria”
Hologram 2 that showed ” Digital Documentation of Historic Buildings in Alexandria” and a VR of a historical tomb in Alexandria that emphasize the role of architectural practice and research in documenting, interpreting, and preserving cultural memory and heritage.under the supervision of Prof. May Abbas Yehia, Head of Architectural Engineering & Environment Design Department and Assoc. Prof. Sally Eldeeb, Associate Professor in Architectural Engineering & Environmental Design. Under supervision of Prof. Akram Soliman, Dean of College of Engineering & Technology. In collaboration with Prof. Amira Sonbol Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, AAST, and Arch. Ahmed Emara, teaching assistant in college of Art and design, AAST.
This exhibition forms part of UNESCO’s global Memory of the World (MoW) Programme, launched in 1992, which is dedicated to safeguarding documentary heritage of outstanding global value and promoting universal access to it. Taking part in an initiative that connects local heritage to international preservation frameworks reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to heritage conservation and scholarly engagement.
