Thursday 8/6/2023 , marked the celebration of the 17th anniversary of the adoption of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) for the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design. This celebration took place with the inauguration of the RIBA CENTER OF EXCELLENCE exhibition, where a number of projects that the department’s students participated in international competitions launched by the British Architects Committee, such as the RIBA President Medals, RIBA Future Architects, and RIBA Charrette, were showcased. The department’s students achieved several advanced positions in these competitions, and all previous visits for accreditation and certificates received by the department were also exhibited.
During the RIBA exhibition, it was clear to see that there were many talented students who have a bright future ahead of them in architecture. Their passion and dedication for the field shone through in their work, which demonstrated an impressive level of creativity and technical skill.
It was inspiring to see these students pushing boundaries with their designs and exploring new ideas. Their work showed a deep understanding of the principles of architecture, as well as an ability to think critically and solve complex problems. It was evident that they had put in a great deal of effort and hard work to produce such high-quality work.
Overall, the student talent on display at the RIBA exhibition was truly impressive, and it’s clear that the future of architecture is in good hands with these young designers leading the way.
